My coworker and I decided to walk from west 68th street to the East Village because it was such a beautiful day. We saw this man painting towards the end of our walk. It’s was a really nice surprise. My coworker took the picture (after a few with his finger in the way).
In the East Village (on Saint Mark’s Place) there’s a guy in a glass case you can give two bucks to for a fortune. It’s expensive, but so much fun. It’s even more fun waiting for the light to change and hearing Zoltar try to bribe you into coming over to have your fortune read.
I was having such a terrible day–my back was killing me and I was grumpy, but then I got to watch a really happy puppy hang out on the Q train. It made my day! Especially when I decided to creeper photograph it.
The flowers are blooming all over Brooklyn! Roses are blooming, bushes are blooming, these awesome colored tulips are blooming! Even the jasmine plant in my bedroom is in bloom. It makes me feel happy and full of life!
I’m really good at Scrabble. Check out my four points! Also, I managed to only get vowels for literally the next six turns. And then I didn’t get a vowel again for the rest of the game. I finished with a healthy fifty-two points to my friend’s a billion points. Yep, so good at Scrabble.
Check out this weird cherry that found its way into my life. Yes, I ate it anyway.
I love lip balm. Apparently, so does Simon.
I was unpacking some boxes when I found these shoes. It completely surprised me–I don’t even remember buying them! The best part of having a terrible memory is that sometimes I find things that I forgot I bought and it’s like I time traveled a present to future me!
I used to have a Weight Watchers leader that would reply to eating while being bored with “If you’re bored, it means YOU’RE BORING!” It used to drive me nuts, and when I saw t his sign, I thought she was speaking to me from beyond the grave. It’s still rude.
A few weekends ago I helped Nick paint his bedroom (which was unfriended on Facebook by Sandy). He let me pick the color. Personally, I think I am a paint genius. It’s Dani approved! For those interested, the before picture is on the bottom.
PS: What you can’t see is that I’m COVERED in specks of paint.
