Kazu Kibuishi
This volume was much bigger than the previous one. Some issues built upon stories introduced in volume one, while others were completely new. Like the first volume, there were some issues in here that took my breath away. They were completely amazing. On the other hand, there were a few that were mediocre. On the plus side, this volume didn’t contain any issues that made me want to skip ahead or cry, so that’s an improvement.
Though as a whole, this volume was average, the issues that were amazing are worth the read. If you’re a fan of volume one, you’ll definitely love this one. Oh! And the author of Bone (Jeff Smith) has an issue in here. Finally, look at the cover! I wasn’t lying when I said Flight has some of the best covers I’ve ever seen. Make sure to check this one out!
